Post by ilrmumbai » Mon Sep 03, 2018 1:52 pm

Dear All,

I am on ILR & my wife spouse visa & daughter 4.6 years old dependent visa is expiring on 28 Oct.

I cannot find any details regarding accommodation requirements on GOV.UK website.

Can someone please advise if I need to show accommodation? And how many bedrooms?

We are 2 adults, 1 child 4.6 years & infant 4 months old.

Many thanks in advance.

spouse visa extension TB & payment query

Post by ilrmumbai » Tue Sep 04, 2018 10:03 am

Dear Gurus,

I am applying for my wife spouse visa & daughters dependent visa extension next month.

My wife had to take TB test when she applied from India. Is it necessary to take this test again in UK?

Also i need to pay visa fees on two different cards. Is this possible?

Many thanks for your support.

You need to show evidence of correspondence to you both to prove subsisting marriage. There is no requirement to prove accommodation for an extension.

No she does not need a TB test for an extension.

Perhaps possible to pay with two cards, depends on how you are applying.

Dear CR001,

For subsisting marriage I am going to include, Marriage Certificate, Letters for the same address for last 2 years, new born birth certificate & passport British passport copies.

Are these sufficient? Also when we applied from India we had to provide Tenancy agreement proving sufficient space for all of us. Is this not the case for extension?

I am applying online. Can i still pay with 2 separate cards?

You can submit your tenancy agreement but it is NOT required to prove space again.

If you pay online, you only have the option of using one card.

cohabitation documents

Post by ilrmumbai » Tue Oct 09, 2018 10:06 am

Dear Experts,

My wife & daughters spouse & dependent visa is expiring on 29 Oct. I am preparing their FLR(M) application.

My family arrived in Feb 2016. I have some bank statements, NHS letters & other various letters for 2016 but not consistently for every month for my wife but I have received letters each month.

From 2017 we have bank statements & credit card statements mostly for each month for both of us separate. Also NHS, & various other correspondence for my wife & me.

Also we have been living at the same address since they arrived in Feb 2016.

Can someone please advise in Total how many documents I need to send for each of us?

If I am sending letters from 2016 then I will need a box to send to Home Office :P

Also we had new born in May 2018, she has British Passport. I am holding ILR.

Thank you in advance

Spouse visa extension- sending passport & visa of the sponsor

Post by ilrmumbai » Fri Oct 12, 2018 11:45 am

Dear Guru,

I am completing all the documentation for my wife & daughters FLR(M).

I have ILR. Do I need to just provide copies of my passport & ILR or send Originals? If I can send copies does it needs to be attested?

I would appreciate if someone who has done this can please give me your advise?

Thank you in advance

Hi CR001,

I appreciate that you move my posts. But then since initial post was long time ago also title is different no one replies to the fresh ones assuming its an old post.

I am struggling to get an advise as my posts are moved.

How can I get an advise?

3rd September when you posted is not 'long ago'!!

Copies of your passport are fine.

Dear CR001,

Thank you for you reply. Do I have to attest the copies by a Solicitor?

Also can I send printed passport photo for an online application or this needs to be digital?

No need to attest.

You must send an original passport photo.

There is no requirement to prove accommodation for an extension.
what about the accommodation requirement when you finish your 5 years spouse visa and you apply for ILR using application set(m)?

There are two things concerning accommodation.
E-LTRP.1.7. wrote:The relationship between the applicant and their partner must be genuine and subsisting.
E.g. cohabitation proof. There are examples in the Application Form of letters from difference sources to the same address, spread out over the preceding two year period.

E-LTRP.3.4.
