Entry clearance with ILR

Post by Sky3 » Sat Oct 13, 2018 9:54 pm

If someone with an ILR has not entered UK for more than two years, then what should they do to be allowed to enter UK for a short visit of two weeks? They cannot apply for a visa as they have ILR. So what should they do as they will be stopped at the entry clearance at the airport.

They may apply for a returning residents entry clearance. Else, if they are admitted as a visitor, then their ILR status may be cancelled.
