Hi i'm not quite sure as to where i should post this, so apologies if its in the wrong place!
I am English, born and living over in England, however my boyfriend is Greek and currently lives in Greece.
He was born in Greece and has lived there all of his life, however due to family issues when he was born, he has an Albanian passport due to his Mum being Albanian and taking nationality from her side of the family although really he is Greek and so is his dad.
He recently got a Greek residence card which is 2nd generation and claims to have 'full market access' to other countries within the EU. He was told by various people, at professional places which deal with passports etc, that the UK borders would accept this and he would be let in for up to 3 months (I think he was told)
He booked a flight about a week ago and is due to arrive tomorrow, however when he picked up the ticket today, he was told that they 'didn't think' he would be able to enter the UK with the documents he has. Overall he has been given many varying opinions on the documentation that he needs. His father knows people in the same situation as him that have been allowed to enter and now live in the UK, however I am still very concerned.
Now I am really nervous about him being refused entry or there being issues in the UK if he even manages to get on to the flight!
Is there anyone that has been in this situation or knows anything about this situation that might help me?
Unfortunately I cant even get to the airport tomorrow to kind of prove he is coming over for me and he is genuine, as I am working.
Thankyou in advance
