Hi,

When Home Office sends back original documents after going through the application using the special delivery envelope we provide, is it safe to presume they send back all documents EXCEPT the passport of the applicant?

Reason being we will be applying from India, and I was thinking to give them a Special Delivery Envelope addressed to my UK address.

No, sometimes they keep documents such as employer letter, photos, chat logs etc.

Passport doesn't go to Home Office, it stays with the British High Commission in India.

I'd recommend including an pre-paid SD envelope for return of docs
