Query - Tier 2 Inspection

Post by sri17 » Mon Sep 10, 2018 1:40 pm

Hello All,

Hope one of you could advise me kindly.

My company had inspection in May 2018 during their sponsorship renewal process and they received a suspension letter on Friday requesting to respond on few queries they raised. The company is in the process of preparing the responce, I believe they have 20 days time to respond.

I am out of country on work and returning end of this week. I am worried what my immigration status is? Could you please advise if I would be stopped at the immigration? Company received the letter after I left the country on Friday.

Appreciate any comments / advise.

Regards!

English test

Post by sri17 » Sun Sep 23, 2018 11:36 am

Hello,

I have taken my Grade5 B1 english exam today. They gave me a provisional pass certificate after the exam.

I have Premium appointment booked for Tuesday. The Exam centre advised to call their helpdesk to request them to update home office on urgent basis about my result. Could you please advise would it be too risky to attend the visa appointment on Tuesday or do you suggest best to postpone the appointment and wait for the certificate to arrive and for the result to get update on the home office website for verification. As there are no appointments being show on there website to postpone. Due to the website performances I am struggling to even postpone the date.

Please share your advise.

Many Thanks!

The best is to just postpone.

You should be issued the pass letter, if you don't want to, you bring it together with your application, with cover letter state when and where you sit the exam. The caseworker may not able to approve your application immediately, if your result hasn't updated in their database.

ILR Eligibility

Post by sri17 » Tue Oct 16, 2018 11:24 pm

Hello All,

Please advise:

2013 Dec - approved Tier 1 entrepreneur visa
2016 Dec - submitted for an extension for entrepreneur visa
2017 Feb - Withdrawn Tier 1 entrepreneur visa extension and switched to Tier 2 General visa which was approved in Oct 2017 until Nov 2018. The role was offered for 33K Per Annum.

In Nov 2018 I am due for an extension with an appraisal of 37K Per Annum. As my pay rise will be effective from Nov 2018 when will be the best time to apply for ILR.

Could you please advise do I have to wait for whole year to show 36K minimum pay for becoming for eligible for ILR.

Appreciate your time, Thank You!

No sooner than 28 days prior to the 5th anniversary of your initial Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) leave and before your leave expires, subject to 245HG.
