My student visa expired and am waiting for EU1 stamp 4 acknowledgement letter

Post by Fran123 » Mon Oct 22, 2018 10:41 am

Hi all,

I am new in this forum and through reading, I have noticed that it takes a while to receive the acknowledgement letter when applying for EU1 fam stamp4. I have a doubt, my study visa expired a month ago and I applied two months ago for the stamp 4 through post, I am married to a Spanish National, we got married here in Ireland.

I have lost the INIS appointment twice because I haven't received this letter, and now my GNIB is expired. what can I do in this case? can I got to INIS and ask for an extension? or should I wait until I receive the acknowledgement letter?

please help me with this,

Fran

Hi Fran,
I am also in the same situation, limited time left for my stamp 4 to be expired. If you also find sth useful let's share under this post.
Thanks

Hi Fran,

If you don't mind me asking how long were you on your student visa before you got married.
