ILR Documents - SET (O) - T2G

Post by ahasnaini » Wed Oct 24, 2018 8:03 am

I am preparing my application for next week, here are the documents I plan to submit

Documents
SET (O) Form
2 x photos
Passport (current & old) - covers entire 5 years in the UK
Life in the UK
Degree Certificate
Current BRP
2 months Payslips
2 months bank statement
Employer letter (Salary, SOC, foreseeable future)
Employer letter about holidays
Approval letter (Tier 2, Tier 2 Ext, PSW)

Questions
1. Should I submit 3 months (payslips and statement) or 2 is enough
2. Should I submit P60s ? last 2 years or 5 ? or they are not needed

You don’t need to submit approval letters.
1. I know people had success with 1 month as well, but to be safe I would suggest 3 months payslip and statement. They just are looking for payslip matching, they don’t care about expenses.
2. I did not submit P60, but have seen people submitting 5, upto you.
More documentation never hurts :)

ILR SET (O) Form Question - Salary Q5.3

Post by ahasnaini » Wed Oct 24, 2018 9:56 am

I want guidance on what value to add to question 5.3 which is salary after tax and deductions.

Here is my case, my company offers 0% interest loans for holidays etc, which is deducted from salary over a year. My loan ended in Aug 2018 and september payslip shows amount has increased as the loan is no more. In October however my wife has been added to my medical insurance so salary has gone down a bit.

So my last 3 payslips each have a different amount, what amount should I put in the Q5.3

My salary is above 60K so there isn't a concern about meeting the requirements, it has been above 35.5k for over 2 years now.

You will need to state your salary after all deductions. In your case, it will be nice to add a cover letter explaining your salary has not been the same for the last three months. This will make it easier for the caseworker/decision maker while considering your application. It should be ok as long as they can see the same salary on your payslip in your bank statement
