was the sick leave the only absence you had while working with them?crazy_p wrote: ↑Thu Oct 25, 2018 4:59 pmHi CR001 and all,
Hope you all doing well!
I am planning to apply for ILR in next year. As I recently changed the employer (Due to a license revoke), I requested a letter confirming my employment and the absences. They've sent me a draft as below. Will this need any additions or will this be enough to support my application in the future?
I met with a small operation and because of that I had to have one month leave to recover. During that period, i got the statutory sick payment. They told they've included that as that shows in my records and probably in my tax records. Will this below letter sufficient enough to support my application in the future?

Djsuccess , thanks for taking your time on this. No, i had holidays during my employment with them. But they were inside the annual entitlement (22 per year). I had to have this month of a break because of my operation.
The reason why I asked is that they need to state all the absences you had while working for them whether within your annual leave or not. The absences here refer to times spent outside of the UK. So the issue of sick leave is different. You need them to confirm all your absences in addition to the sick leave.crazy_p wrote: ↑Fri Oct 26, 2018 5:12 pmDjsuccess , thanks for taking your time on this. They've included this line to clarify that. "During his employment, additionally to his annual entitlement, he was granted one month of a leave"
Will this be a problem?
Thanks again and sorry for the late reply.
The sick leave is a different topic. The absence letter for ILR is mainly about time spent outside of the UK.crazy_p wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 4:24 pmThanks again and sorry for the late reply.
1. No, during the sick leave I was here in UK
2. Yes, I've travelled and spent some of the holidays outside UK. Do they need to add them including dates?
I think they issued with this line because they have't got all dates / data for almost 4 years. if this is mandatory, I need to ask them to add them here!
