Tier 2 general change of employer

Post by Kavi2312 » Mon Oct 29, 2018 12:51 pm

Hi all,

I got Tier 2 general Visa on 1 OCT 2018 its been 30 days since I got Visa

My current employer who sponsored COS for me has been acquired by a new company

I will receive new employment offer letter from New employer by January 2019 and post to that my payslip and HMRC will be updated with new Employer Reference Number

Since my current employer no longer will be active from January 2019 and new employer does not have UK visa licence

please clarify what will be the process for Tier 2 General visa applicant to update the visa if a new company take over current employer

I it possible to transfer current employer UK Visa Licence to the new employer who acquired ?

If the Tier 2 Licence cannot be transferred is it possible to transfer the COS allocated for me?

If new employer need to apply for Licence and COS for me how long will it take?

Many Thanks in Advance!
