Knowledge of English for Tier 2 General Visa 2018

Is IELTS General test is valid for Tier 2 G.

I couldn't see this under the approved list of tests here : https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... ebsite.pdf but it seems its valid as per british council website here https://takeielts.britishcouncil.org/ie ... ielts-ukvi .

Can any one please confirm ?
