Permanent Residency Application

Post by Chamby » Wed Oct 31, 2018 6:44 pm

Hi everyone,
I am married to my EEA spouse since april 2014 and we are planning to submit both our applications for settle status and PR in April 2019 was wondering if it'a an issue as my wife has always been employed by zero hours contract company(mc donalds) and her earnings during the 5 years were as follows:
p60 2015 :£2500
p60 2016: £2500
p45 2017 : £3000
p60 2018 : £8500
2019 : she gave birth in october 2018 so she is receiving maternity allowance
I was the one taking care of most of the expenses of the household is it an issue for us if we applied for settled status next year considering her earnings??
thanks.

Level of earnings will be irrelevant for Settled Status - granting of the status will be based on a residency, identity and criminality check.

So you and your wife should be fine to apply in April 2019.
I am not an immigration lawyer. My comments are opinions, not legal advice.
