Applying today for extension-please advice

Hi all, a friend of mine is going to apply for Tier 1 Ent. Extension today by courier. Which methods can he apply by i.e through post as we all have been doing tll now or through new Service centers?

He is based in Birmingham and woukd prefer to send documents by post.

For now, both options are available
