Surrendering Indian passport and applying for OCI - URGENT

Hi Guys,

I surrendered my Indian passport in Bradford on Wednesday. Does anyone have an idea how long it usually takes them to send me the surrender certificate?

Also, how long does it take to process the OCI application once I have submitted my application at the Bradford office? Do I have to submit my British passport as well for the OCI application?
