It is very rare for citizenship to be acquired through either marriage or through children with that citizenship.

If this applies to you, please contact the German Embassy in London or the Consulate General in Edinburgh.
However, it may be possible for you to move to Germany with the children and apply as a parent under the Zambrano route of EU law. Then, having accrued the required number of years residence in Germany, you can apply for citizenship in the usual way.
