help with application for UK visitor visa

Post by Ozzy82 » Sat Nov 10, 2018 8:32 pm

Hi All

I have trawled through multiple uk gov websites and the vfs global site but there is just so much info that my head is pounding! I was wondering if some of you can please advise me on how I can go about calling my mother-in-law and father-in-law for a visit (3-4 months max) from Pakistan on a visitor visa? the process, paperwork etc can I apply from here (UK) on their behalf? here is my scenario
Me: UK passport holder, full time job
Wife: Pakistani with UK indefinite leave to remain, part time job
My mother owns (freehold) the house we live in
Father-in-law:self-employed factory owner in Pakistan
mother-in-law: housewife

Where do I start to go to apply? What docs do I need to gather? What docs do they need to gather?

Any advise/info/guidance is very very much appreciated!

Start with the website to start populating the form. Takes some time and there's lots of info you need to add for travel and your grand parents detail. You can submit on their behalf.

This is my post for my MIL which was successful. The main point you'll need to show is WHY they will not stay in the UK and have reason to go back. Social and economic reasons
