Hi my name is Medrin
Am from Kenya,
Last month we applied for a UK Fiance Visa, the one that will allow me to travel to the UK to get married within the six months of the Visa then apply for a spouse Visa.
We had paid on priority basis after waiting for almost 30 days, we got a refusal.
All other categories we were eligible.
But it had two areas we were not.
First Reason
It states I did not understand this since we applied for 6 months Fiance Visa to get married in the UK then apply for a spouse Visa. So I chose Settlement /Marriage.
Second Reason
It states that we gave evidence of:-
company registration
6 months company bank statements
6 months personal bank statements
HRMC tax computation for last two financial years
But they wanted the following:-
Evidence of the amount of tax payable, paid and unpaid for the last financial year.
The latest Annual Self assessment tax returns to HMRC (a copy print out) I think you had given this.
Statement of Accounts (SA300 or SA302) (Copy of Self Accesment form HMRC,
The same for the previous financial year if the latest returns does not show the necessary level of gross income but the average of the last 2 financial years does.
Proof of registration with HMRC as self employment - HMRC can get you a copy.
Unique Tax Reference Number - UTR
Bank statements for the business for 12 months all accounts for the same period as the tax returns.
Personal Bank Statements for 12 months as the same period as the tax returns. showing the that income form self employment has been paid into an account in the name of the person.
Evidence of ongoing self employment through evidence of payment of class 2 - National insurance Contribution.
One of the following documents must also be submitted.
You need to check which of the documents in number H (i t
Unfortunately for us this kind of Visa is not known here so even getting the list of what is required was a big challenge.
I noticed we missed out alot and would want to try again.
My question is with all what we missed out do we qualify to appeal?
If we would want to reapply can we do it immediately?
Does any know the full list of requirements for a Self employed sponsor so that we don't miss anything this time round.
Kindly advice
