After getting British Citizenship what will happened my non eea dependent applicant?

Post by azildi » Sun Nov 11, 2018 4:15 pm

Hi all, i am in the process to apply for British Citizenship but i have applied for my non eea mother in law dependent permanent residence (EEA FM). Would it affect either applications? What will happen to her dependecy after gaining BC? Should I wait her approval and then apply for my BC?
Thanks

AFAIK a British citizen cannot sponsor a Non-EEA citizen (under EU Regulations) so probably best you get MIL PR first before you yourself naturalise.
