Lost passport before being issued with a settlement visa

Hello. I need help with a question about a settlement visa to the UK. I made an application and the visa was approved after an appeal. I was then asked to submit all my papers via TLS to have the visa procedures carried out. I then found that my passport had gone missing. I straight away set out to get a new passport as fast as possible. I now have the new passport with all the same details as my submitted application, apart from the actual new passport number is different to my application. I tried to find out if it will pose any issues or not. Does anyone know?

Submit new passport to TLS. Include statement / proof that old passport has gone missing.
