APPROVAL OF ANCESTRAL VISA WITH CRIMINAL CONVICTIONS

I want to apply for my ancestral visa to the UK from South Africa.
I was convicted of theft in 2003 and received a R60 000 fine and a 10 year suspended sentence.
Will the Immigration Office decline my application based on this?
