Indian to Italian Passport... Still eligible for PR in UK??

Hi

I came to UK in 2009 on student visa and later obtained EU family permit in 2015. If I convert Indian to Italian Passport on the basis of marriage... Am I Still eligible for PR in UK on the basis of already living here for 9 years or do I need to wait for another 5 years after receiving the Italian passport?

You can aggregate the time that you live in the UK as an Italian citizen and as the spouse of an Italian citizen exercising treaty rights for PR under EU law.

So you should be able to apply for PR on the fifth anniversary of your marriage, provided your Italian spouse has been exercing treaty rights in the UK or had PR in the UK for the period between your marriage and your acquisition of Italian citizenship.
