Tier 2 general to ILR unemployed for 30 days and travelled to India during that time

Post by nidhi83sharma » Mon Jan 07, 2019 9:33 pm

I am eligible to apply for ILR in April 2019.
I have a query about my unemployment period for 35 days ,during these 5 years.
I resigned from my previous company in July 31st 2017 and I joined my new company in 4th September 2017 so there was a gap of approx 35 days and I was in India during this period.
Though I resigned from previous employer after getting sponsorship from next employer so there is no gap in visa sponsorship.
I am only worried about more than 33 days in India and unemployed. Will it cause any issues while applying for ILR?

What is your concern about 33 days?

There is no rule saying you can't be out of country for more than 33 days (you should be worried if it's more than 180 days in a calender year).
My advice is based on personal research/experience, so pls check relevant UKVI sources.
