Ancestry Visa Extension questions

Hi

My partner is applying for his Ancestry visa extension. We are up to the Immigration Health Surcharge portal. I have a couple of questions if you could help, would be greatly appreciated for any advice.

1) For the visa route, it has FLR (O) and FLR (IR) - both where you can choose UK Ancestry. (example below) Can anyone enlighten me which one to choose, or if it matters? I've tried researching but I don't quite understand.

2) Does my partner add me in the dependents section as part of the IHS? I am joining him, and not extending and I am not in the UK currently. I will be filling out the form myself as dependents outside the UK. I would think I don't as we apply separately..

Don't worry answering the first question. My partner looked at his visa application and it's a FLR (IR).
