Indian Company : UK Allowance

Post by hsmp_info » Tue Jun 03, 2008 12:55 am

Hi,

I’m in UK for the past 2 years on Work Permit. I’m from India and working in UK for my Indian company. I would wish to apply for a Tier 1(HSMP) visa but I have few points to be cleared.

Even though I’m working in UK, I get my full salary in India and in addition to that I get living expenditure (allowance) in UK which is against the cost enquire for living in UK. I have company sealed pay slip for my India salary and I can provide the original bank statement where salary is credited. These documents are India documents. I don’t get any payslip for my UK allowance or any tax document like P60 etc…

In this scenario can I apply saying that I’m in UK, but show only my India Salary part.

Can anybody share there success stories ?

Secondly, Can I apply from India?

Thanks in advance for your help

Cheers

I think you can, but please note that you will not be able to use the uplift factor to your indian income (because you are resident in UK).
Secondly, Can I apply from India?
You can, after you return to India. Tier 1 application requires you to send your passport with your application and it will be returned to your address after EC is stampled on it (if approved).

Go through the Tier 1 policy guidance, available here http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... yguide.pdf

Or do you want to find out if someone has received an approval without confirming to the laid down procedures??

You want to uplift your Indian salary even when you are working in UK.
You want to apply from India while you are physically in UK.
Unfortunately this isn't India, my friend ... here rules are exactly what they are ...rules, meant to be followed

Hi hsmp_info,

I am in same position like you. ie Indian company - Indian Salary + UK Allowance. I have applied for HSMP when I was in UK during march and got approval letter. Now I am in india and planning to apply for EC from india.

I have got a letter from employer stating the salary/allowance I get in UK. Also my company provides payslip ( without gross and tax details, just net salary ). I have asked them to print it in company letterhead and sign it. I have asked my employer that this is required for applying homeloan and I have got it.

Letme know if you need more detail.
