Post by Maheshindiauk » Thu Jun 05, 2008 12:31 pm

Hi,
I need help regarding the timeline for the stamping FLR with HSMP approval letter. I have sent my appication yesterday to HO and now i need to travel back to India this month end. Would like to know how many days it'll take for the stamping?

Please refrain from duplicate posts. Important to realize why.

Until the reason to travel is extremely sensitive / compelling, I don't think BIA will entertain your request for urgent consideration.

Moreover, there is no option of "urgent treatment" for Tier 1 (unlike HSMP). Even for HSMP applications, the BIA website states that they are not accepting urgent treatment requests to due to huge backlog of applications.

Suggest you call BIA helpline, explain your circumstances as to why you need to travel on 29-Jun and see what they to say. Else, looks like the only option you have is to withdraw your application.
