good day

I am non eu married to eu spouse. He recently got his settled status and I would like to apply for PR now. Does he need to apply for Permanent residence as well or will his settled status be considered to be permanent residence?

Settled status is acquired after PR is granted under EEA regulation. However after Brexit, EEA regulation will not apply and the settled status acquired via EEA regulation will lapse. The EU Settlement Scheme will open on 29 March 2019 for EEA citizens and their families who wish to settle in the UK: https://www.gov.uk/settled-status-eu-citizens-families
