Forgot to mention a Visa refusal in UK - Need help

Hello everyone,

I have been refused a visa to UK more than 6 months ago and I want to reapply. But the problem is, I was refused a visa because I forgot to mention a previous Visa refusal that happened 10 years ago when I was practically a child.

Now that I want to reapply I don't know how to make a case and tell them that I totally forgot to mention it because it happened when I was 15 years Old.
Can someone write me a sample of how to convince the embassy that the visa was long ago and the application was made by a familiar of mine, And to be honest I really had no idea what I was applying for or how long or anything.

P.S. I am from Kosovo!
