overstayer at the airport

Post by ricky » Mon Jun 09, 2008 5:00 pm

hi guys
here is just some info for any overstayer worried, or stressed from the thought of getting in touch with immigration at the airport
i left uk voluntarily about 2 weeks ago here is what happens :

i didn t have my passport , just a piece of paper from my embassy and my ticket , i approached the immigration at the airport and told them the truth , my name and my visa details , they checked on the phone and confirmed that i was telling them the truth , and they thank me for my honesty , then isssued : IS151A, they asked me 2 questions that s all: my full name , visa details
the immigration officer said/ he really appreciated my honesty and explained to me that/ IS151A is not a ban but it s just a notice removal and that s not a reason to ban me from returning to uk
i also discussed with him the new rules/ he said/ furstrating immigration rules means : lies or manipulation

i strongly advice any overstayer to be truthful they do appreciate honesty

Honesty is the best police.

If you watched TV program "Stupid" last week, you would see that a person was caught and arrested using the fake British passport. He got 4 months in imprisonment and then deported.

In the early days, people might still escape if using "real" stolen British passport. But good news is that, this occasion has proved, they will not escape from prosecution ang they will get caught.
