Tier 2 General visa: SCO code choice for RCOS

Dear Sir/Madam,

I need some advice on the SCO code. A real estate broker and asset management firm wants to hire me and issue me a RCOS. We are not so sure about which COS code to use. My position will be a manager level and my major responsibilities are, including but not limited to, (i) preparing pitching and advertising material; (ii) pitching potential clients; (iii) market research; and (iv) assistance on deal execution. I think the tasks (i) and (ii) will take much more of my work hours than other tasks.

When the firm obtained their sponsor title, they used “1132 Marketing and sales directors” for the labour market test. The job responsibilities are quite in line with my proposed duties but the grading seems a bit higher. When the firm and I took a second look to the Immigration Rules Appendix J, we found that “3545 Sales accounts and business development managers” also looks fine.
The questions are:
1. Should the firm stay with 1132 and use it for the labour market test and application for the RCOS?
2. Can we change the title to Marketing and sales manager?
3. Are there any other codes that you think it is a better option? (like investment related title?)
