ILR application query on Maternity absence question

Post by SPL » Sat Jun 08, 2019 5:56 pm

I have below questions in filling ILR application

I was in maternity leave from 15th March 2018 to 14th March 2019.

1Q. Are you on maternity, paternity, shared parental or adoption leave? - Yes/No
If I click yes - It takes me to next section. If I click no it takes me to below question

2QParental or adoption absence
Give the start and end dates of the period of maternity, paternity, shared parental or adoption-related absence (if you are still absent from the workplace due to maternity or adoption-related leave, the end date should be left blank).

Start date
Enter date in the format DD MM YYYY

End date
Enter date in the format DD MM YYYY

I feel like 1st and 2nd question contradict each other. In 2nd question They are asking for start date and end date of maternity absence. Do I have to say yes for 1st question and so I could mention start and end date of my maternity absence 15th March 2018 to 14th March 2019 in 2nd question Or should I say NO to 1st question, which will take me to next section.

Please advise.
Thanks
