Travel without BRP but within visa expiration date

Hi all,
Apologies if this has been addressed before (I could not find it).
I am on a Tier 2 general visa with Multi entry and I entered UK with it on 6th June. I was supposed to receive my BRP from 5th June onwards but I haven't received it yet. I need to travel to Europe on 19th June and I come back on 23rd June. My multi entry visa is valid till 28th June. Although everyone suggests not leaving UK without BRP but if I re-enter before the expiration date of the visa, shouldn't that be ok?
Has anyone does this before?
