2 Dependent Application if done togethere w/o main applicant

Hi,
I am applying from within UK for tier 1, I have funds 1538 in account since last month (more tahn 800 since last 6 monts). However this will not cover me , my wife and kid maintenance fund requirement.
It covers for me and my wife's minimum funds but does not cover 3 month period.

So what do u think I should apply myself first and then apply for wife and kid as dependent (Funds can be available after 2/3 months).
if yes then do I have to pay fee for 2 dependents , or single envelop with 2 applications with same fee.

Shall I apply for me and my wife ,it's ok , as by the time application goes it will be 2 months , so they will accpet.

Given the fact that currently you can only show 800 pounds everyday balance over a 3 month period (mandatory requirement), the only option for you is to apply for Tier 1 alone (if you want to). Or you can wait until such time that you can show maintenance funds for your dependents as well - and apply together. If and when applying together (main + dependents), make sure all applications are included in a single envelope.

Remember, the min. balance required for dependents is based on the time you have been resident in UK (1600 per dependent if you have been in UK for less than 12 months; 533 otherwise). Read Dependents maintenance

The one advantage of including dependent application(s) along with main applicant is that you will save 395 pounds per dependent application that you'd otherwise have to pay if dependents apply separately and / or later on from the main applicant.

When dependent applications are made separately (even if in different envelopes but at the same time as main applicant) or later on (at a different time from main applicant), it will cost you 395 pounds per dependent application irrespective of whether dpendent application(s) are in a single envelope or separate ones.
