Tier 2 COS date amended after submission of visa app (Urgent help needed!)

Hi,

I have applied for my Tier 2 visa recently, however as my employer thought that I might not receive my visa on time, they just amended (added a note with a new start date) the COS (Because of the 28 days rule). I would like to know if my application is still valid or if I need to reapply with the amended start date ?

Hi,

Work start date on the my CoS was 1st July and I applied for the visa on 2nd July. My sporsor added a note to CoS before I apply the visa and mentioned that the proposed start date amended to 27th July (to not break the 28 day rule). I got my visa approved and Entry Clearance is starting from 18th July for 1 month.

I think, in your situation, there is no problem.

Hi, Thanks for sharing your experience.
The difference here, and the reason why I am worried is that they made the change after I submitted my application and biometrics.
