IHS overpayment

Post by banashree192 » Fri Jul 19, 2019 1:14 pm

I came to the UK as PBS dependant (Tier-2, General) on 28/02/2019 and my husband has sponsorship from here. I applied for 2 years and validity mentioned in my BRP is same. I selected the option "upto three years" for IHS during the application. I paid INR 113868.00 which is equivalent to 1200 GBP, whereas IHS is 400 GBP/year. So it should be 800 GBP in total. I have seen on the website that the overpayment will be refunded automatically. However, I would like to clarify the scenario and I will be happy to know the next step has to be done by me.
