Hi Sudha, sushdmehta wrote:Ask yourself this - Does the "gross" salary reflected in your salary slip become any less just because you asked your employer to loan you some money (in advance) from your salary?? No, the "gross" salary doesn't change!! Only the net payout falls (temporarily).
If you still want to play safe, get a letter from your employer to state that you were given advance from "your own salary" on your request, and as a repayment for that loan, XYZ amount has been deducted every month for ABC months from your salary. (personal opinion, this will do you more harm than good).
Under what head are these deductions reflected in your payslips?

Thank you for the above explaination becasue I am in a exact same situation as gaurav so I thought to continue here only instead of raising new thread.
In my case this deduction is mentioned as "Salary Advance: xxx GBP" under "Deduction Head" section of Payslip.
Do I still need to take a letter for a safety side? Will BA ask for the proof of how this is being paid? i.e. The second evidence of amount paid. I am bit scared becase they have mentioned in the guide that at leat two evidence needs to be provided from difference source for money paid.
Please can you help on this?
Your help would be highly appriciated..
Thank you.
regards
