Prove your knowledge of English for citizenship and settling

Post by StewbobClark » Wed Aug 07, 2019 9:19 am

I am a South African and have been resident in the UK on multiple Ancestry Visas since 2009. I am preparing to obtain ILR. I have a PhD from Montana State University in the USA and an old NARIC Letter of Comparability from 2009. I am wondering whether I need to obtain a new AQUALS from NARIC to prove my knowledge of English or is it sufficient to be able to show some other form of evidence? https://www.gov.uk/english-language
