Tier 4 application form error

Hi Experts,

My sister filled in her Tier 4 student visa form online from India and took VFS appointment.
Due to some typo error or perhaps some network issue she filled in wrong date of birth of parents, it showing default date of 01/01/1900. It wasnt picked up during her final form review and now it is submitted with NHS surcharge and visa fees paid with appointment booked for Thursday. Does this need cancellation of application or we can correct it on paper copy before submission to VFS ?
And if she cancels to do a fresh application would she get her NHS surcharge and visa fees refunded?
