Travel outside UK after form submission

Hi All,

I am on tier 2 general visa and I have filled in the form for ILR but yet to submit. I have the following questions:

1. I am required to travel outside UK for few days. However if i submit my form now, i wont have that travel covered in the absences list? Is that OK? Or shall i wait for the travel to complete, update the absences section with the latest tarvel and then apply?

2. If i just apply it now, travel and then during the appointment tell them that i had to travel for emergency and also produce another letter from the company, will it be OK?

The date of application is the date you pay and submit. If you travel after that, your application will be considered withdrawn.

I think i will wait for the travel to get over, update the absences section and then submit the application.

One more quick question related to this:

After i submit the application (superiority, one day) and pay, i will need to take the appointment from the UKVCAS. How soon can i get the appointment and after i go for appointment, give the biometric details, how soon do i get the new biometric card?

Need to know the rough number of days from application submission to getting the new brp card?
