Hi guys,
I'm hoping that someone will be able to give me some advice on providing evidence for the 62500 for my wife's visa.
The situation: I've just moved back to the UK after 9 years overseas and currently am not employed. Naturally, I'd like my wife to be able to come over as we plan to settle here. Whilst we have no income, we comfortably exceed the 62500 requirement for 6 months - however it's split across many different accounts and has been circulating around between the accounts (for interest purposes etc - never outside of an account owned by me), and because of this can be very confusing to follow.
My question really is, how do I fill the form in for this? Put all the money into 1 account and then the bank statements for all 9 accounts submitted as evidence to support this? (The guidance reads: What amount of savings are held in this account in GBP? Only include funds that have been in your account for the last 6 months or where you have liquidated or transferred eligible assests or funds that you have owned or controlled for 6 months). The funds haven't always been in this account, but they've always been controlled as evidenced by the other accounts. Does this make sense?
Or.... do I enter each account separately? For some of the accounts it would look a bit mad: How much in the account currently? GBP100. How much 3 months ago that is now in one of the others GBP39,000....
Hoping that someone can understand why I'm so confused and give me some idea on what to do - to me it feels like the form assumes that not only have you have the money for 6 months, it has been static in one account. Any ideas?
Help very much appreciated!!
