Switching from Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneurship (GE) visa to Tier 2 General

Post by Vasilisa1 » Tue Sep 24, 2019 3:39 pm

Dear experts,

I am currently on Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneurship visa and want to switch to Tier 2 General.

I have a company ready to sponsor me, they have restricted/unrestricted A rated sponsorship license.

In Tier 2 general guidelines, I found out that you are granted 30 points if you are on Tier1 GE and want to switch to Tier 2 general one.

Questions:
1) As far as I understood, restricted sponsorship license does not apply to me?
2) Do i have to go through Resident Labor Test? Does this mean I am exempt?

Thank you in advance! would be grateful for your insight!

Hi all, after roaming around in his forum, i realized that if I am changing from Tier 1 GE visa to Tier 2 General, then I am exempt from RLMT.

I assume that if i am going to apply whithin UK, he sponsor can asign me UCoS immediately. Plesde correct me if I am wrong! Thank you!
