Hi Everyone, my brother got married with Eu citizen and we are sending documents for visa to bring him in Ireland. his wife lives in Ireland. is anybody here who knows how long it takes to get visa and what documents they are asking except what is written in the website of INIS? we are sending her bank statement, payslips and letter from work as a proof that she lives in Ireland , also his and her passport and marriage certificate. please help if anybody has more information I would really appreciate.

I just did the same for my husband except I'm Irish citizen and he's non eu visa required national.

I've sent the above you mentioned, tenancy contract, landlord stating there no problem he can stay with us, proofs of relationship, photos, )history of how we met and when they relationship developed, when we decided to get married), all th back and forth visits, 6 months bank statements and payslips for both of us,Certified marriage cert by government, original birth cert, his and my degree, all my p21 and p60s, his police clearance from his country
Btw a solicitor did my application. I've just sent it to south Africa yesterday as thats where they process application from where my husband is from. My solicitor said 6-10 months wait but I don't know we'll see. It all depends if they r happy with the docs we sent or they need more.

it's complitly different when Spouse is Eu or Irish. I think it's more difficult when the person is Irish
