UK Spouse Visa - Passport returned no refusal letter or Visa

My wife received her passport back yesterday, There was no visa sticker or any refusal or appeal letter.
We received an email on the 19th of September stating a Decision was made on our Application.
She had applied in Ahmedabad India.
Has anyone else experienced this? What do we do next as we dont know the outcome of the visa?

Yes, the exact same thing has happened to me in July and they weren't good news at all. Got an email about "decision was made" on July 6th 19, and two days after (8th July), got my passport back (no visa vignette attached) and no decision letter whatsoever. I had to call to the VFS centre and nothing, they told me to wait until Home Office contacted me. On the 10th, I received a refusal letter by email.

What do we do next as we dont know the outcome of the visa?

I suggest you to check your email 24/7, because Home Office has opted for sending the decision letter by email in some cases (have no idea why though. I'd also paid for priority service).

Hi, It has been nearly a week now, no email or letter in the mail regarding the decision of the application, any advise what I should do now? I have like you rang VFS but not having much luck there either.

Thanks! surely this reference number is on the certificate no? My solicitor has it so I can't check. It was done at trinity college.

I have the same problem I applied for spouse visa on 11/9/2019
We did not receive any e-mails from the Immigration Office, I was tracking my order online only, I made sure all the stages are green. I took the passport without a visa or letter for the reasons for refusal, and I did not receive any e-mails from 10/12 4 weeks now and I did not receive any reason for rejection. And IHS is refund.
