received an email from BRPLost saying my lost&stolen card is still active

Home office is really frustrating!!

Timeline:
lost brp on 3rd May
reapplied on 4th May
attend the appointment on 23rd of May in Croydon
missed delievery cause I moved places
heard nothing from home office(doesnt have decision letter) since then
have to file another application for brp
received an email from "BRPLost@homeoffice.gov.uk" saying its been found:

Good Morning

Thank you for your email. You have reported your card lost and stolen. Your card has been found and if you use the link below we can arrange for your card to be delivered to you:
www.gov.uk/biometric-residence-permits/not-arrive

but the link require a dicision letter which I dont have!

Then I replied I want to keep it active and got reply:

Thanks for response your BRP NO xxx is still active and valid till 13/01/2020 you want to declare this card lost and to be cancelled please reply asap.

Is anyone having the same case with me and share excperience?? desperately waiting for whatever......
