Hats off to contributors for your invaluable effort on this forum. Kindly solve this big basic mystery, it has been bothering a large number of professionals. If an employee like NHS doctor on Tier 2 General visa get a job in another NHS trust during or near the end of their current job and have to get their leave to remain extended, which is the best route? The HO website instructions almost clearly say that you can not apply for extension. The only other option is new application but that can not be made while in the UK. What is your experience should they still go for Extension application? I suppose this has been the tradition.
