Citizenship after arrest

Post by karborator99 » Fri Dec 27, 2019 12:09 pm

Hi all.

I wonder if anyone knows what can be the outcome.

Basically I've been arrested on suspicious for kidnapping and sexual assault. The accuser was too drunk to give any information and then I've ended up spending the night in the arrest. The next morning she admits that nothing happened and I've been released with letter no further action. I never had any problems with the police before not even a parking ticket. Already checked that I don`t have a criminal record but I know I`m probably on the police system. Now planning to apply for British citizenship but don`t want to spend 1400£ if I know that I would be rejected. Any advice on this matter will be much appreciated.

Hello
This will not affect your application as you were not convicted.
