ILR for EEA

Post by m-e-d » Sat Aug 02, 2008 6:07 pm

Hi Everyone

I am very confused at the moment and hope that you can help me out.

I have been maried to an EEA national for 6 years, My 5 years Visa expired last month and i applied for ILR 6 ago. i had no correspondance from the HO, I sent my application recorded but i lost the receipt from the post office ( obviously i got all the copies i sent) . i have tried to contact the home office to find out if they have recived my application or not but there is a message asking not to phone if your application is less than 14 weeks.

My question is :should i expect any correspondance from the HO and if so what can i do now that i have no proof that i sent my application?

- My other question is how long are they taking to process FLR applications??!!

Many thanks for your help

you have to call them regardless of what they say ,when your application comes in they normally log it into their system at least they can tell you if it has got there.
