Converting dependent visa into student visa from Home Office

Dear Members,
Is it possible to convert/apply my wife dependent visa if she will receive unconditional offer from any educational institute whom Home office recognize,
if for instance she will be able to convert her dependent visa into student visa from UK, shall i will be able to convert my student visa into dependent visa from inside UK, or do i need to go back to my homeland and apply from there please help.

I don't think that it's normally possible to switch to student, as there is a Mandatory entry clearance requirement for students, unless you fall under one of the exceptions.

However, it's possible to switch to students' dependants.
