Your immigration history is not without its flaws but the problem is that your own parents cannot hide the fact that they have someone in the UK.
Imagine they just apply without mentioning you and the Home Office finds out about you. How is it going to look? The Home Office may think they have some second motives to come to the UK (overstay?) and that's why they are hiding their connections in the country or something.
I always recommend to be transparent with the Home Office. Anyway, it's not you applying for a visa. It's your parents after all. As long as their own immigration history is clean and they have strong ties to their home country, it shouldn't be a big issue.
