Sole Representative of an Overseas Business visa

Post by muneeransari » Sat Jan 18, 2020 6:31 am

Hi

Im applying for a Sole Representative of an Overseas Business visa to the UK , I intend to take my family with me ( Wife and Kids below 6 years ) .

I need advice on the following :

1) I will be applying as the MAIN APPLICANT for the Sole Representative of an Overseas Business visa - as per UKGOV it says the initial Visa granted is for 3 years after which I can apply for extension of 2 years provided my business responsibilities are still active .
After the total of 5 years I can apply for ILR provided I meet the minimum stay condition ( 180 days minimum )
Is this correct ?

2) What happens if Im not able to meet the Minimum 180 days conditions for the all 5 years ? Will my dependents who will be continuously living in the UK for the whole 5 years be eligible for ILR even I dont meet the minimum stay condition ?

3) The reason why I wont be able to meet the minimum 180 days is because I will have to traveling to my company HQ for the business related works .

1. Yes
2. No, you must be granted ILR either before them or with them. Their status in the UK depends on you
