Help, ILR on long residency

Post by ITehreem » Sun Jan 26, 2020 4:01 pm

Hi experts

I’m a silent read of this forum and get a lot help from this in my various visa processes.

Student Visa: Entered UK on 20th March 2007 with leave to remain from 01 March 2007 to 1st May 2008. Extended student visa with expiry date 31/01/2009. (01/03/2007 to 31/01/2009)

PSW: Applied for PSW after MSc. got refused on 8th April 2009. Left UK on 07th May 2009.
Applied for PSW from Pakistan, granted 2 years visa from 05/11/2009 to 05/11/2011. Entered into UK on PSW 17/01/2010.

Tier1 General: applied on Tier1 General on 30/03/2011, granted on 26/05/2011 to 26/05/2013.

Tier1 General Extension: extended from 12/06/2013 to 12/06/2016.

ILR: applied for ILR on 29/05/2016. Refused ILR on 05/09/2017, Home Office asked for the tax amendments and they didn’t receive the documents I’ve sent. So they refused ILR visa due to lack of documentation.

ILR Admin Review: filed administrative review but no luck and refusal date was 17/10/2017. Please note, there is no deception charges on my refusal.

Tier2 General: applied for Tier2 General on 25/10/2017 by priority service. Granted visa from 31/10/2017 to 12/11/2020.

Here is my brief immigration history.

I would like to know if I can apply for ILR on the basis of long residency? If so, would Home office still asks me about tax amendments? What are the chances to get ILR this time?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks
Tehreem

You can apply but the tax issues during Tier 1 period will be investigated. If it turns out there was deception, your ILR will be refused under long residence
