Travel while awaiting response to naturalisation application

Hi all,

Can I travel to India while I am awaiting response for my naturalisation application? I was told I can until I attend ceremony after which I would only be able to travel on a British passport? However there are some sources that say that may not be possible. Can someone please help from their own experience? TIA

Live doesn't stop when you apply for British Citizenship.

You can travel to India. You are an Indian citizen at the moment with a valid Indian passport.

Once you attend the ceremony, it's different. But for now, you are an Indian citizen.
